Nars lipsticks are highly pigmented and long-lasting, while keeping my lips smooth and moisturized. I never experience feathering, and I never feel like my lips are sticky or overly made up. Belle du Jour is a beautiful and very sheer nude/beige color that would go with a lot of different skin tones. Nars puts vitamin E in their lipsticks, which keeps my lips healthy and also prevents those vertical lines that I get when dehydrated. This lipstick never deposits into creases and provides smooth coverage that doesn’t smear or smudge. I have used a lot of nude lipsticks but Nars Belle du Jour is my staple, and I bet it would really look great on a lot of other people too.
